Provided by YP.comEarlier this week, a cat named Oliver was illegally euthanized. The doctor should be investigated and sued. I will never bring my animals to this vet.

Provided by YP.comA friend of mine brought in a cat that she had rescued from another couple for bloodwork and grooming. They took the cat in the back room and then claimed the cat bit someone and would need to be euthanized. They refused to let her do an animal quarantine, and when she wanted to call animal control, the vet claimed they had already called and that animal control said to put him down. She didn't sign a release but they euthanized him anyway. She has since talked to animal control and the vet apparently had told them it was a feral cat. Why would you be a Vet when you so obviously don't care about animals. And shame on the other people who were working and just turned a blind eye. This place should be shut down.

Provided by YPmobileLove this vet!! I've been bringing my elderly dog here for years and never had a bad experience. Really caring staff and doctors. In comparison to other vets in the area this one really is not as pricey, especially when it comes to cleaning my dogs teeth. I'd never take my pet anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comThis is the best vet that I have ever worked with. No exaggerations- I have two special needs rescue Samoyeds who need frequent check-ins for various ailments or medication, and I have never met a more friendly and compassionate staff ever. But let's get more specific. I go to Odenton Vet Hospital because ten years ago one of my dogs was in a freak accident at about 7:30 at night. My dog Carter was in pain and I was in panic mode. I drove down to this hospital, a vet I had never brought her to, and they took me right in. Oh...did I tell you that the Odenton vet actually closes at 6:30 PM usually...which means that, despite being closed for over an hour, Dr. Steve saw us outside the door and brought us right in. He saved my dog. And I can't count how many times Dr. Slade was there to usher us through significant ailments and injuries because Carter is an adventurer and scrapper. But that's not the end of my recommendation. Last year I adopted another Rescue Samoyed in January who was coughing frequently. I thought it was kennel cough, but brought him just to make sure, and upon examination, Dr. Pepin-Slade saw the need for x-rays, only to discover that my dog Chase had an enlarged chamber of his heart that was pushing against his trachea. She immediately sent us down to the cardiologist and they gave him three months to live. It is the staff of Odenton Veterinary Hospital that I can clearly say have helped me keep him steady for a year, which really is a medical miracle. And the staff has been just wonderful. I will call right before they are closing and ask for a heart medication refill for my dog Chase and they will ensure he has it and stay open a few minutes if I am running late. The staff, and I am going to miss some folks so I will edit later is fantastic: Veronica, Kammie, Matt, Anna, Daniella, and Chris (and if I missed someone I will make sure to go back). So let's be clear- if you need a vet who will care for your animal companion like it was their own, there is no place else to go.

Provided by YPmobileUm. In response to Joeser29 guy. I have been taking my animals to this vet for many years and they have taken the very best care of my pets and have cared for their wellbeing for their entire lives. I do not appreciate you putting this vet hospital down because of your lack of responsibility in pet ownership. When you take on having a pet, it is YOUR responsibility to have the means to take care of this pet. This situation is simple. You wouldn't go to a grocery store and demand free food because you have no money to pay, you wouldn't go to a bar and demand free booze because you don't have money to pay. The fact that this vet cannot see your dog does not mean they do not care about animals because they do. They simply are following basic business rules. You can't pay for a service? Their hands are tied. It is not their fault that YOU are not able to provide proper care for your pet! I do feel sorry for your pet sir, but if you are upset that your children have to watch your dog not receive proper care, it is noone's fault but YOURS. Be an adult and stop slandering this wonderful establishment for your own inability to care for your pet.

Provided by YP.comThe Odenton Vet doctors saved my little baby (known by many as snowball) when he was super sick many years ago. Since then I would never go anywhere for my pups healthcare. The Vets are great and many have been with working there since the place opened up 20 years ago.

Provided by YP.comI've been going to this vet for years and they are, by far, the best around. They are kind, caring and compassionate people. I'm sorry the person below me doesn't feel the same way. I'm sure they would've helped you if they could, but we don't know their side of the story. Perhaps they've heard the story several times before and have been stiffed in the past. Why didn't you go to a vet that was open late after you received your check? Don't bad mouth these poor people for not being able to give you free services. A hospital charges its patients, why would a vet be any different? I will continue to take my pet there and recommend them to anyone.

Provided by YP.comI have been going to Odenton Vet Hospital for 15 years now and I love them! The vets are great.....the staff is great.....
The prices are competitive. If you want "cheaper" service then you get what you pay for.
I have NEVER had an issue with ANY of the vets at this hospital. They have ALL taken EXCELLENT care of my pets. I have referred many friends to this vet and they have said NOTHING bad about it.
If anyone has anything negative to say about this hospital, they obviously have no clue what they're talking about.
And the place is ALWAYS clean when I go in. The ladies at the front desk are very organised and very helpful if I have a question.
I HIGHLY recommend this vet to anyone looking for a fantastic place to take their animals for any kind of medical care.

Provided by YP.comYes, they are more expensive but just slightly. It is SO worth it because of the care that this Vet takes with your animal. We have been taking our two dogs there for 3 years and are always treated so well! They truly care about your animal.
