Provided by YP.comWorst restaurant in Odessa. Poor excuse for a "Catfish" place when they are downright Rude, overcook the fish and serve it cold, and quite frankly, STEAL your money. I tipped the rude waitress a $2.00 tip (which she DID NOT DESERVE) on a $13.47 tab, and the charge on my card was for $20.47. I'm not a math wiz but 13+2 does NOT EQUAL 20!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU WILL NOT ONLY BE SERVED COLD, OVERCOOKED FOOD, BUT THEY WILL EMBEZZLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IF YOU GIVE THEM THE CHANCE TO!

Provided by YP.comSo gross! Really, don't waste your money. We had a bad feeling when the parking lot was empty at lunch time, and again when we saw how dirty and rundown the building was....but this IS West Texas after all. What do you expect? Unfortunately, the only good thing about this restaurant was the service. All the fried foods (pretty much your only choice) tasted exactly the same. (I had catfish - that tasted like eggs - and very rubbery prawns; my husband had chicken fried steak - that tasted like fish - and popcorn shrimp...all you can eat. Big mistake.) And "hand battered?" I sincerely doubt it. I think I detected the faint taste of cardboard.... And did I mention it was really, really DIRTY? I was tempted to try the "home-made ice-cream," but after the few bites of fish I tried, my stomach did not agree. If you find yourself in need of a 24-hour diner and can tolerate cigarette smoke, Pojo's on Kermit Hwy has much better food. (Still not spotless, but this IS West Texas, after all.)

Provided by YP.comThis has to be one of the best restaurants ever. The wait staff is friendly, and the food is homemade and tastes great! My favorite is the homemade ice cream and pies. Especially the chocolate cream pie. You won't find a better catfish recipe either. Most of the menu is fried, but if you are a healthier eater then go for the teriyaki chicken - it is delicious. You don't want to miss out on this place. Plus it is 24hrs a day - so if you get hungry at 4am you can get great food!

Provided by YP.comHad the catfish dinner with a tossed salad and baked potato. The ranch dressing is their recipe and it was the best I have ever had. They also have pies made from scratch that are to die for. I will most definitely be coming back! Plus great service.

Provided by YP.comSo I am driving to El Paso with a stop in Odessa and I am hungry, this is "steak and potato" country and I don't eat meat. What's a girl to do?? Well I found a listing for Catfish and Company on the Odessa City guide and decided to give a whirl, and boy am I glad I did! Fantastic doesn't even come close. The fried catfish is wonderful, the clam strip was great even the sliced jalapenos were fresh and extra spicy! So, all I got to say is, if you ever find yourself in Odessa, you too should give it a whirl.

Provided by YP.comThe breakfasts here are so good! They have the best bacon I have ever eaten. Their English muffins are also delicious. Nice friendly place -- not fancy -- not flashy -- just down home.

Provided by YP.comGood breakfast place. Generally affordable food. If you go to Catfish & Co., best to show up around 6 a.m. and sit near some old-timers, as that's by far the best part of the place.

Provided by YP.comOur hostess explained about the condiment bar and recommended the green tomato relish. Truthfully, it was outstanding with the catfish.

Provided by YPmobileThis was my first time at Catfish & Co. The staff was polite, and attended us courteously. I ordered the steak medium-well & butterfly shrimp. The steak came out perfect and the shimp were awesome. I personally thanked the chef for an awesome job. Thank you Raymond, and the whole Catfish & Co. Staff on a great anniversary dinner.
