Shop, Learn, Be Healthy. Good Earth is committed to providing fresh wholesome foods and nutritional supplements that will help each individual gain optimum health of body and mind. Once upon a time, a family had an idea... Good Earth Natural Foods got its start in 1973 when Rae and Ken Howard, with the help of their son Mike and Rae's mother, Dr. Ann Geaslin, opened a small store in Provo, Utah. By 1984, our "extra mile" service resulted in an expansion move of the original Provo store. In 1999, this store was again expanded to a new location to meet the needs of our customers. Rachel Howard Humphrey and her husband, Todd, have shared in Good Earth's growing vision. As General Managers and partners, they helped bring the family's commitment to optimum health to Midvale where a Good Earth was opened in 1989. This store was named as one of Utah's 100 fastest growing companies in 1996. In 1995, Todd and Rachel opened Bodymasters Nutrition, a small store located in the Salt Lake City ZCMI Mall. 1996 brought a beautiful new Good Earth to Orem. In 1998 this store was named by Health Food Business Magazine as one of the top 100 health food stores in the country.

Great customer service

I went into Good Earth yesterday to find items for a drastic dietary change I need to make. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable. The explained the differences between two different products, directed me to the items I was looking for, offered suggestions. Checkout was smooth and friendly. This store is not in my normal traffic pattern, but I go out of my way to shop there. They usually always have what I'm looking for and take good care of me while I'm there.

Poor Customer Service, Shop Some Where Else!

Over the past 6 months I have shopped at the Natural Foods Market on several occasions thus having experienced a drastic drop in customer service prompted me to write a review. 1. A month ago I went in to purchase a protein supplement but didn't understand the difference between "Raw Meal" and a Wheat based supplement, upon asking one of the guys that works there he said in a rude tone "One is vegetarian and the other isn't" he then looked the other way and proceeded to to ignore me and would not answer any more questions.2. A couple of weeks ago I went in to buy another supplement and had a similar experience with another male employee. This seems to be a pattern of rudeness at this place. Now I don't know what the problem is but I will make an effort to not shop there anymore; after all I can buy the same products in Costco or GNC or if need be online.I suggest you shop elsewhere!

Good Earth in Riverdale

I hadn't been to a natural foods store in years. I recently became vegetarian and needed many things that I was unfamiliar with. The employees were all professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They had everything I needed and they were able to answer all my questions. I will shop there for all my natural food needs.
