Its products are used to protect wafer and device damage during handling, testing and shipping, often from the United States to many other countries. SPI/Semicon designs and produces products to its specifications at manufacturing sites in Odgen, Utah, and the Philippines. It utilizes plastic injection molding, extrusion and vacuum-forming for manufacturing its products. Its parent company, Professional Plastics is a major distributor of plastic materials.
