I had a basic task, I told em what I want, and what did I get? I got 3 different quotes, all of which made me want to vomit. I got quotes with crap I didn't ask for. GFCI's installed in places I didn't even bring into the conversation except to answer whether I had GFCI's in those places. I got a quote with a $400+ surge protector, again, something I never requested. And then the low-ball quote that I did want. The sad part is, the low-ball quote was $500 over that of another VERY reputable companies low-ball quote.

So here is the deal. I am certain these electricians are competent. I am certain these electricians will do an awesome job. But I'm not wealthy enough to be taken for a ride. Unfortunately, I paid $49 for an estimate that was WAY too high!. So I happen to feel like I went for a ride anyway.

The fact that there was an attempt at up-sell really pi$$ed me off. I want what I asked for, and nothing else. Also, I was annoyed that they didn't even open my breaker box. The reputable company that I previously mentioned, opened it up, told me what's wrong, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want, and gave me a quote which I initially thought was high, but am now committed to paying. So learn from my mistake.

Though, like I said, I bet Alliance does REALLY good work, hence the 5 stars. If you've got the money, GO FOR IT!

This company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau at this time, but so does the company I hired. So, get estimates, and and be savvy. Some companies think that since they have that rating they can stick it to you. Don't let em.

We just wanted to inform you of the excellent service provided by Alliance Electric Services while working in our home.

My husband and I have recently purchased a new home and have had approximately 10 service crews through our home over the last 2 weeks. With each of these service calls, vague installation / inspection times were given and the service crews have at times been quite unprofessional. Some of the work has been sloppy, with little regard for cleanliness of the home. This company is distinguished from these services by providing prompt and courteous installation, and a narrow window of time for installation (noon till 2 p.m.). Daniel left the work area cleaner than when he arrived and provided a truly professional installation. 

I am pleased to recommend your company to friends and family members.

Justin identified the source of the problem and repaired it. Possibly prevented a fire in my home. Very nice and professional!

My husband tried to install a ceiling fan...it didn't work. I called Alliance Electric and they came to my house and installed it in no time. They told me what it would cost before they came and that is EXACTLY what I paid. I will call them from now on!

I live in an older home and needed electrical upgrades. I called OurElectrician and they were at my house the same day! They worked fast and left my house as clean as it was when they got there. I would definitely recommend them to everybody!
