I am disappointed that I must share my experience with CJ. Babbit, Inc. I was referred to this accounting firm by a trusted friend. Sadly, I cannot say I was taken care of very well.

I’m not sure Mr. Babbit doesn’t offer reliable services to his customers, but he has a newbie to the accounting world with only about 6 years experience. His name is Andy McLeod.

I cannot recommend him as he didn’t remain in contact with me. Took me as a client, accepted $1000 retainer, charged me $400 to do some minor work. Then didn’t speak with me again, wouldn’t return emails, no phone calls with updates as to my filings.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy CPA, look else where, especially if you’re a small business owner. No communication, no explanations. Absolutely disappointed.

When I finally got a hold of Andy, he had no answers for me, talked about somethings that happen over a year ago he had done for me, but never finished, nor started what I hired him to do. I did get back the $1,000 retainer as he didn't do any of the work.

*This firm is a member of a B.I.N. Group, basically a group where people meet and exchange other's details for referrals, nothing to be taken serious, they're encouraged to share details to get other referrals. It's a paid, non sense, waste of time in my opinion.
