DataModes offers an integrated data processing solution that includes 30 software modules for accounting, order processing, manufacturing and equipment service. The software runs on most operating systems, including Windows NT/2000, Novell, LINUX, SCO Unix and AIX Unix. The systems have been multiuser since 1983, allowing hundreds of users to work interactively on the system. The founders of DataModes wanted to provide small businesses with an accounting system with capabilities beyond those normally found in the PC. To accomplish this, it applied the database technology used in large mainframe computers. The company has designs for processing business applications on large computers that were adapted to multi-user PCs. The DataModes TM4 software addresses all sizes of businesses providing modules for manufacturing, accounting, order processing, inventory control and job costing. The DataModes TM4 modules run on single or multi-user systems and on most of the operating systems available for PCs. The company is privately owned and headquartered in Oklahoma City.
