If I could give zero stars I would. The earlier reviews portray mr higginbotham as the laywer I dealt with. He took advantage of me when I was in a very bad time in my life. I've never met a more evil person and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Hearing his name sickens me. Yes he does offer payment plans but also offers exchanges of other things for his services from women as well. Be careful and stay away from him! He will say he's good friends with the da and judges and that he goes to parties with them and that he'll get you the best deal but that's not true. I was innocent and had a witness and letter proving that I was when the court date came up he said no matter what don't say anything except that you plead guilty. I was scared and listened to him and now I will have to carry this the rest of my life. I still owed 300.00 and the day before my court date he called my 90 year old grandmother and cursed at her saying If I didn't pay him the rest of the 300.00 that he would cease his services. I had already paid him over 3000.00 and he hadn't done anything. It saddens me that so many other people were ripped off and lied to by this man. Gary hugginbothom shame on you!

I hired Gary to represent me on a pretty serious drug case. He let me make payments and continued by case until I was able to clean up my act. He told me to go to AA meetings and get some clean drug tests which I did. He showed them to the DA and convinced them to give me a good deal, much better than I had hoped.

Had a really great experience with Gary. I would recommend him to ANYONE! I found him to be honest and reliable.

Where do I start. I retained this man for a Assault case back in 2007. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MY FIRST TIME IVE BEEN IN TROUBLE!!!) Long story short I got a TEN YEAR SUSPENDED SENTENCE. This man literally did nothing but take my car, ( I offered it in exchange for payment, plus I paid him cash).. He lied to me. He made me believe he was going to do the best he can. When we were in front of the judge, he said nothing. I did all the talking. Now I'm a felon with two kids, working rinky dink jobs, and barely surviving because of this one case. My life is ruined. He is the devil in disguise.. Do not spend $ with him. You WILL get the worst sentence.. I promise.

Everything these reviews say are true. This man is an absolute terrible person. He is a terrible lawyer does not care about you only wants your money STAY AWAY!

Gary Higginbotham is rude, unprofessional, and a real jerk. He is a awful person and engages in poor practices. I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone. He is arrogant. I agree with the previous post. DO NOT USE HIM AS YOUR LAWYER!

Gary was very unprofessional, got me a very bad deal, tried to scam me and my family for thousands more than owed! Kept prolonging sentencing until he got paid. If your looking for a good deal and a honest lawyer this is not your guy!!!! Hes lazy, selfish, and arrogant. If your paying someone to take care of you thats what they should do it's their job! Not tell you they dont care or figure it out. I may have been better of with a public defender. Screw you Mr. Higg!!!!!!!
