I walk in and the first lady i met was really sweet and showed me around. Another comes out, very rude, terrible customer service. They never have anything you're wanting in the store. Always having to order them. I was trying on some shoes and she immediately takes them away when I wasn't done with them. It was between two shoes I wanted that I was trying to make my mind up and she would rudely rush me. Its what I want and how I want it. Other customers and I are the reason you're even getting paid... shame. what a joke

No customer service skills what so ever!

I have been doing business with Lynda's Birkenstock for several years. Prior ro finding her I use to buy them in California and then on-line. I thought doing business locally would be a good thing. It was until I had a problem. I purchased a pair of Birks for a little over $200.00. One of the same pair that I have purchased the last several years. In fact this is my fourth pair. I wore them twice for about an hour each time and they hurt my feet so bad, I had to return them. The main problem was I was treated like I was trying to pull something on Lynda. She could tell as she told me they had been worn...duh...I had just told her I wore them twice for about an hour to try and break them in.She could not or would not help me. I would have to deal with the factory, that was her only option and it would take awhile. Had she not been so condescending we probably could have worked it out, but as it stands all future Birk purchases for myself, my sister and my mom will be made over the internet or in Santa Barbara. Wish I had so many customers I could blow them off.

I won't be shopping at this store again. I went in looking for a specific product, which they did not have. No problem. I informed the clerks why I was looking for that product. They suggested another, very similar item and I purchased it. This would have been fine, but it wasn't what I needed (actually it made my problem worse). I latter found, doing my own internet research, that I needed a different Birkenstock product than either what I went in for or for what they sold me. I then called Lynda's to find out if they had the product I did need. No. No problem, can you order it? I was informed that the clerk could order it but was busy right then and would have to call me back with the price. No problem. I'm still waiting for the call. Now I don't know about you, but when I'm spending over $100.00 per pair of shoes and $50.00 for inserts for my other shoes I expect better service and product knowledge. I try to shop locally, but Lynda's won't be where I put my money.
