Provided by YP.comNever EVER go have your body work done at OKC Auto Works!!!!!! My car was damaged during a hail storm earlier this year. Charged me LOTS of money, but left a huge glob of silicone glue on my rear window (which had to be replaced, then taken out a second time) and tried to hide it under my trunk lid. I just found some molding I had to replace myself on the roof of the car where they BROKE it removing it.
Had to take my car back because they conveniently forgot to replace my obviously cracked driver's side door mirror AND didn't replace my headliner from water damage sustained when the rear window was busted out.
There was also an interior seat piece that shouldn't have been removed that was removed. They didn't put that back where it came from either.
Again, don't go here. Save yourself the trouble.

Provided by YP.comTerrible service car was promised to be finished way before my car rental was supposed to be returned then I had to extend it to 3 weeks never got a phone call of when and what was being worked on or when it'll be done I've called multiple times never got a call back won't be returning again

Provided by YP.comI agree with myala.robs. I had my Mercedes fixed after I was rear-ended and was very unhappy. They used the wrong year trunk to replace my damaged one which decreased my car's value. My insurance company paid for a new Mercedes trunk from Mercedes not from a salvage yard. My insurance company said they had a lot of unsatisfied customers. They also did not match the paint colors correctly, the paint always looked dull. Don't use these guys.

Provided by YP.comThe process was quick and easy and the most surprising part of my experience was when I came back for minor key Fob battery placements!!! I highly recommend OKC Auto Works and hope they continued success!!!

Provided by YP.comI had some suspension work done on my semi-new, semi-old truck. OKC does good work in this area. Gave me a sharp estimate and stuck to it to keep me under budget and happy.

Provided by YP.comSince I have had good luck here in the past, I brought my car here because my tire had a leak. They fixed it up for me while I waited and didn't charge me! I know I will be going here for a long time.

Provided by YP.comI’ve only used them once, but will certainly do so again if needed. Fixed a minor dent on the door for less than the estimate of both $$$ and time. They washed the car spotless afterwards and handled insurance impeccably. Good job!

Provided by YP.comI had a great experience here at OKC Auto Works, I was able to get an oil change during my lunch and they were pretty fast and did a great job. The staff was really nice, very professional as well, and they were also cheaper and convenient than the regular auto shop I go to. They were great and when I need my next service I know where to come to now, thanks OKC Auto Works.

Provided by YP.comDon't recommend OKC Auto Works to any one! While at the shop to drop off my car, 1 brought their car back for missed repairs, another was there complaining repairs were bad and not done correctly. I began wondering what my experience would like. FIRST, my initial estimate, which I have a copy of, was different from the one the insurance company received. My answer was "I don't know why". SECOND, my car was there 2 weeks and not one phone call which I indicated on the check-in sheet, I wanted updates twice a week. When I called to get update, my service guy, Jason, said "we're right on schedule" and you can pick up tomorrow, we close at 6 and not open on Sat. Like I don't have a life. THIRD, I took my husband with me to pick up my car. Immediately I noticed a panel on my spotless car now had a "flat" finish to it and a drip of clear coat on each side of the bumper. My husband also noticed. Don't know the technicalities, I just know it has a different feel to it and does not shine. The guy who says he did the paint work just happend to be standing near. In my opinion, to see if we would notice the panel. He said it was like that when we brought it in and that it is a bad paint job on previous repairs. Do these people think I'm a moron? I've had my car a year. I hand wash this car and park in the "no door ding" section at the stores.
Not sure what can be done at this point but more than likely it will boil down to this. Their word against ours. They messed the panel up, did poor work and I had bad customer service.

Provided by YP.comHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
OKC Auto Works had my car for 5 weeks, a week and a half of this time was due to a 'backordered' part. Sean and the front desk staff were extremely helpful and nice, in the beginning, calling me with updates and keeping me informed of what was going on. I picked up my car and within 3 hours the check engine light was on and my car was overheating like crazy. I took it back in the next day and they hadn't 'burped the radiator.' Really, you had my car for 5 weeks and fogot to do something this simple? There was also a problem with the hood of my car and unexplicably there was a bump out on my dash where the passenger airbag is, even though it was not deployed in my accident. They fixed everything but the dash and told me they would call to have me bring it back in for that. 3 days later, my check engine light was on AGAIN and still no phone call about the dash. It was several days before I could take it back in and when I did, Sean no longer worked there and Jason was my new rep. They told me to bring the car in the following Monday to be dropped off and pick up a rental at their expense. By this time my hood had developed a new problem of bouncing on a bumpy road, such as I-40. When I dropped my car off, they had forgotten to get me a rental and provided me with their 'loaner' vehicle. It was an '03 PT Cruiser with front bumper and grill damage, a huge crack through the windshield, brake issues where it made a loud noise and shook everytime you stopped and any hump or bump in the road made the car shake back and forth, plus it smelled, oh and the driver armrest was missing. I was not only emabrrassed to drive this vehicle and park it in front of my house, but felt very unsafe driving it. I spoke with the manager, Kelly, regarding this and he agreed to have me bring it back and give me a rental as I was previously told I would have. When I went to trade in the loaner my car was miraculously done, in only 2 days! The rep, Jason, however told me that they were doing me a 'favor' fixing it free of charge, even though they state that their work is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle as long as you own the car, because what I brought the car back in for was 'unrelated to my accident.' Oh really, so all these problems just magically appeared on a car that I had driven only a year and had no previous issues before I was in my accident and it spent 5 weeks in your body shop? I spoke with the once kind and helpful manager, Kelly, again and he agreed with his rep that they had done me a huge favor, and based on my response that he probably should have just left it undone for me to deal with my insurance company 'that probably wouldn't have paid for it anyway.' I'm sorry but this is not how you treat customers, EVER! I also had a check issue with them, where I was told they would hold my check, that I was unaware I'd have to pay at pickup(my deductible) since the accident was not my fault, until I called them to give the go ahead for deposit. 1 week later the check cleared my account without so much as a phone call to tell me they were depositing it. I understand if they couldn't hold it any longer, but at least have the decency to make someone aware that their account is about to have a large amount withdrawen and possibly overdrafted! Please do not take your car here, it would be a mistake and shame if you had to go through anything similar to what I did.

Provided by YP.comI have been a customer of OKC Auto Works for many years and done plenty of business with both the body shop and automotive repair side. I have always been treated great by all members of the staff and the place is always clean and up to date which i consider to be a reflection of how my car is going to be treated. I have been involved in a few fender benders in various vehicles over the years and they have always come back good as new and they even cleaned and detailed them as well :) When my classic mustang needed a new motor, OKC came thru again even fixing some issues I had after I picked it up at no charge. If your looking for an honest clean facility that does great work, this is it.

Provided by YP.comMy car was taken to OKC Auto Works by the insurance company after the May 2010 hail storms that struck Oklahoma City. I really wish I had taken the car somewhere else.
When I picked my car up, I noticed that my trim pieces had white swirls all over them and there were scratches on my passenger side door handle. Not major, but annoying. Then before I had gotten too far away, I noticed a large crack running down the center of my dash. After OKC Auto Works failed to return my calls, I showed the broken dash to the insurance company and was told to physically take the car back to OKC Auto Works. OKC Auto Works then told me they would order the part and get back to me. They didn't.
Over the next few days I noticed more and more things that weren't done right. My hose for the windshield wiper fluid was not hooked back up. My driver's side door controls came apart as I drove down the road. My doors leaked glue for weeks. That same glue stained my interior in spots and some clothes of mine. (I think it was glue. It was dark and silver colored and very sticky. It took a mild solvent for me to get it off my floor boards and the door panels.)
Again, the rep for OKC Auto Works would not return my calls. I had the door and the hose fixed on my own. At this point, I needed the car fixed and I was tired of waiting. (Cost me about $100.) Weeks went by and I had no news on the dash. I stopped in and spoke with the designated rep. He said he didn’t know anything at that time but that he would call me back by the end of the day. Of course that ended up not happening.
Then we had a large amount of rain hit the OKC area around the 4th of July and my spoiler that had been *repaired* began leaking water into the back of my car. I have reason to think this is just a case of a washer or a bolt not being installed properly. (Not certain, all I know is I have water coming in there where I didn’t before…) There was also a clip missing on this interior piece attached to the hatch and as a result the piece hangs off now.
Eventually, the insurance company got involved and finally I received a call from the manager of OKC Auto Works. We made an appointment for me to bring my car in and get the dash fixed later that week. I left the car with them for two days at which time I also told the manager about the leaking spoiler. However, their interior guy never showed up. Nothing was done.
So, OKC Auto Work’s solution was for me to then call up their interior guy myself and try to chase him down during a work day when he would be in the OKC metro area.... When I explained later that this solution would not work for me, I was told I should then leave my car with them for another week. At this point, I didn't want them to take anything else apart. I had paid enough for their incompetence. The dash was the part that concerned me the most because it was the most expensive and to me the most difficult to replace. The other stuff I could fix either relatively cheaply or on my own and it wasn’t worth the hassle to let them take the part again and keep the car for a week.
Long story short, the insurance company came through where OKC Auto Works failed and I just had the dash replaced by a local dealership. It took the dealership less than an hour to do.
The impression I got was that they were hoping I would just get frustrated, throw my arms up, and walk away. That’s not great customer service in my opinion.
I noticed a few problems with the clear coat (slight bubble on the front of the car and one or two other spots in what was supposed to be a completely repainted fender.) but for the most part, the stuff that was painted looks “okay.” That's really the best compliment I can give them. If you decide to take your vehicle in, photograph everything, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING, in as much detail as you can get.
That’s my opinion. Take it for what it’s worth.

Provided by YP.comI will be back! Thanks Brian
I had a fuel pump go out and after dealing with another 'ACDelco' shop still did not have the job complete. The vehicle was towed to OKC Auto Works and Brian and his team assessed the vehicle, told me what was wrong and did not charge me a dime (the part was under warranty).
If I got this service without being a paying customer imagine what they can do for me next time (and you)!
Thanks again!
Heather

Provided by YP.comThe alternator on my husband's pickup truck stopped working. He was stranded on I-40 just outside of OKC, 350 miles from home. Not knowing a mechanic in the area, we found out that OKC Auto Works was a AAA approved repair shop. The truck was towed to the shop on a Tuesday evening, and by noon on Wednesday, the truck repair was completed and my husband was on his way. He made the five hour trip home without any trouble. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. We were very grateful to receive such excellent service. We very highly recommend this repair shop.
