Horrible food safety issue and employees rude to the customer



I love Subways message for healthier eating but the health violations I witnessed today make me want to never return.



The first food safety violation:

It began with the second position- vegetable person. With his gloves on he wiped his face/brow while pushing his hair back under his cap. Then asked me what vegetables I wanted without any recognition of what he had just violated in the terms of food safety.



I then asked this man to change his gloves. Another employee asked him why, as he is 3 feet away from he answers “I don’t know.” I then told him and the fellow employee the above action that made me request he change his gloves.



The employees continued to talk about this while I was standing there stating to the man “oh, customers ask that all the time.”



The second food safety violation:

While trying to close the sandwich, another employee came over without gloves on and used her fake nail to assist the person in the closure of the sandwich.



I feel Subway needs to look into these actions due to there lack in health standards and the lack of customer service, they have lost me as a loyal customer.
