Provided by YP.comI was a patient from 10/12 until Dr. Amayam got sick and I had to find another doctor. I found Dr. Amayam to be too busy to really care about his patients. I believe his entire goal was to convince you to get a $95,000 spinal chord stimulator. He convinced me to do it but all it did was make him a lot of money because it didn't help the pain. After having another spinal fusion in Dec 2014, my back surgeon found the metal leads to my stimulator loose and that was probably the reason it never worked well. Dr. Amayam is the one that put it in. Every month I went to Amayam, I sat in the waiting room from 1 to 2 hours and when I finally got to see him, he would ask "how are you?" and I'd say "fine" and he would say "good job" and then he'd walk out without another word. He was done with me and wasn't coming back. It was exactly like that every visit for a year. I'm sorry he got sick but I'm glad I had to find another doctor because the one I have now is awesome and very professional and will talk to you as long as you want and I'm always in and out of his office within 45 minutes. The one reviewer was right about the chairs in Amayam's waiting room - very cheap and hard as a rock. After sitting on them for an hour+ I could hardly walk back to the exam room.

Provided by YPmobileTold me all my other doctors from going on now 15 years of treatment were full of" rubish" and he yelled at his own partner doctor girl in front of me and patients and yelled at me. Nurse staff gossips about personal information and he treats you like you are a drug addict. He kept me on medication that did nothing but make me throw up he is a hack and u will wait 3 to 5 hours to get in as well he overlooks and doesn't care about people having things to do. Plus horrible chairs for people with bad backs hello stupid!!!

Provided by YPmobileWent to Dr amayem for 8 years. When he got sick another Dr came in to help with the practice. Because I was going through so much upheaval in my life she put me on a medicine that had a bad reaction with my other meds. Basically it made me very tired. Well not only did I report this to his office help but my mom wrote a letter saying she thought meds should be adjusted. Well she took me off of that med . The next month I let her know things were better but that I still felt light headed. She ordered me to see a family practice doctor or I would not get meds next month. I scheduled special appointment just to go talk with her because I have no job and no money to go see family doctor. Well she did not even look at charts to realize I was not there for meds. Just to talk with her. Because I had not seen family Dr she went and got Amayem. He kicked me out of clinic. Told me to go to emergency for withdraw. He also discussed this very loudly going down hallway. I never failed a drug screen and yet I got kicked out over a medication Dr onwar put me on. HF she never put me on it this never would have happened. So beware if you need a doctor that cares about the patient do not go here. Its all money to him. I wish now I had moved doctors when he was sick.

Provided by YP.comlet me first by saying that Dr. Amayem is the only doctor i have ever had that can put an iv correctly into my arm without missing multiple times. when you walk in you can tell it is an extremly busy office, but seriously who wants to go into a doctors office that is empty. I have been a patient of Dr. Amayems for years, and after my many procedures and scheduled visits i can say i would wait for eternity to be able to see Dr. Amayem and get his expert clinical advise regarding any pain i am feeling, or to get an injection there is no doctor in Oklahoma that is as professional or has the expertise Dr. Amayem has. i highly recommend visiting AA spine center if you are needing a pain specialist.

Provided by YP.comStay away! Very disorganized. Too many patients for one doctor to handle. Long waiting room time. Does not follow though with scheduled appointments.

Provided by SuperpagesI was very disappointed. It took 5 days to get a return phone call when I had a medication question. When I asked to speak with the doctor directly I was told that he does not talk to his patients on the phone! Needless to say I am looking for a new doctor.
