I just wanted to brag a little or ALOT on everyone that I came across at Self, Morey, and Associates. Everyone knows that divorces are a very diffucult and trying to say the least. I have three children, was married for 11 years, and found out my spouse was.. well, not faithful. I was referred to this wonderful law firm from a good friend that had recently went through the same thing, and cannot express my gratitude for the wonderful way I was treated and am so greatful for Debbie, and the rest of the crew there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Forever greatful, and highly recommend to all my family and friends!!

This company had failed to help in anyway except for racking up a bill for over $8000.00 (including retainer) in 3 1/2 months of service and then dropping case. Never appeared in court and retainer was used up within in the first month. Then to top it off when they withdrew from case, they stated I did not repsond to them. 1 1/2 months of no phone calls and tried several times to set up payment arrangements only to be told to pay their amount and not what I could afford and then stated I wanted to drop them, no no no, bonus, they charged $1000 to withdraw, when courthouse advised me they did not have to appear. They do not accept payment arrangements unless its what they want you to pay, not what you can afford. They never return phone calls and charge you and arm and leg to write an email or to return a call, which they never respond to. They shove your case to another attorney with out any of your knowledge until time comes to meet them. I would not recommend nor use their services again. Be very careful with this firm, your petition will not state what you told them and then they tell you that we can handle the false statement's (claiming i made) to the courts!! bad bad!!

Effective and cost efficient representation. Firm consists of highly qualified attorneys and staff who know what they are doing and do it without robbing you blind. Wholly competent to handle emotional family law cases.

I found this firm online. I just finished going to court out of state and I needed a lawyer here in OKC to deal with moving a final child custody judgement to OKC. I seen a Paula Glasgow who I paid a retainer to start the process. She knew we had to move quickly and said she would. Well 3 weeks later after not hearing anything from this lawyer I called to find out what was the status which this lawyer charged me $120 for this call which was less than 20 mins. I will verify when I get my sprint bill. This $120 call Paula informed me that she was waiting on my previous lawyer to send her a certified copy of contempt. I told her my lawyer can't send a certified copy that the courthouse would have to be contacted for the certified copy. I gave Paula the info to get copies and informed her to please email me on status. My previous lawyer ALWAYS kept me informed on the status of what was going on. She would just email me because it takes 2 mins to do and she NEVER charged me for email. Well after a week went by and still nothing from Paula I again called her office and was told she wasn't there. I called the next day and same thing she's not there. I called the 3rd day and after being on hold for 5 minutes she came to the phone. She asked me if I received her email that she just sent and charged me $40 for this 2 sentence email. Paula told me that she sent letter to courthouse requesting contempt info. I told her I wasn't happy with how she handled my case and Paula informed me that I could come in to pick up retainer. I was out of state at the time of this call. 2 weeks later Im at the office to pick up retainer. This firm charged me $513.38! I was charged for something I NEVER received which was the certified contempt. When I tried to explain that they were giving me a copy of certified paperwork that I have given them they kept saying this is what the courthouse sent. Another lawyer I suppose since she did not introduce herself but had quite an atitude told me that the courthouse sent the wrong paperwork. She was holding a letter that Paula typed requesting docs on 13 Apr 2010. My issue is the certified docs this lawyer gave me is dated 25th March 2010 which is the day I went to the courthouse and received the docs. That's why I KNOW these are the docs that I gave them NOT the docs the GA couthouse sent. The certifed date on docs would be a date in April since the letter from this firm was dated 13 Apr 2010! When the courthouse certifies they certify on that day. I would think a lawyer would know that. I really don't believe they even sent a request to the GA courthouse. Anybody can type a letter and put a date on it. I will be reporting this firm.
