Located in Olathe, Kan., Indian Trail Junior High School is a part of Olathe Unified School District 233, which operates more than 40 schools in Kansas. The school operates a variety of service organizations, activities and competitions to enhance the experience of students, such as cougar maniacs, cougar singers, culture net, silver stars, yearbook, peer mediation and Science Olympiad. In addition, it maintains an I-Club and drama, foreign language and technology clubs, as well as a leadership council and jazz band. The school offers various parent involvement options that include school site council, parent volunteers and parent-teacher conferences. Established in 1981, Indian Trail Junior High School provides academic classes in grades seven through nine.
