Olathe South High School, established in 1981, offers educational instruction to students in grades 10 through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,400 students and is a part of the Olathe Unified School District 233. It offers advanced placement courses in English, biology, chemistry, environmental science, analytical geometry and American history and government. It has athletic teams in several sports, including cross country, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, bowling, swimming and diving, wrestling, baseball, softball and track and field. The school provides various extracurricular activities, such as German club, debate, Fashion club, student council, science Olympiad, theater, vocal music and yearbook.
