I remember going to OTPP with my father ever since I was a kid. He got me me a 12ga shotgun from here as a birthday present. I bought my wife and I's wedding rings here, tons of the tools that fill my mechanics toolbox as well as countless cd's, movies, various electronics and so on.
I have been to pawn shops all over the country and the professional atmosphere and helpful staff at Olathe Trading Post and Pawn cannot be beat ANYWHERE. Most of all, I think that I have always gotten a fair deal on the things I have bought or sold, and that's what the pawn business is all about!

I have been to this place a couple of times. They have a great selection, are very honest and all the staff there are super friendly and helpful.

I'm a 20 year customer of Olathe Trading Post! ...As a child my father would bring me into the shop, barely old enough to understand what price tags were I was picking out a new Super Nintendo game after church every Sunday! Four generations from my grandfather, our family maintains loyalty to this wonderful part of Olathe. From my father buying jewelry for my mother, my nephews buying stereos for their cars, to wedding rings, and electronics for the rest of our family, we have always gotten the best quality items at the best price around! For 20 years I have gotten to spend a lot of time in this store and the best part about it is the guys that make it all happen. Needless to say, the customer service is impeccable. Every person working there gives you the time, attention, respect and service that is deserved. They are all well educated in their profession and they're always fair. Regardless if they're extremely busy, they always treat you like you're the only person in the store. I don't have one negative thing to say about this shop. I'm thankful for such honest and kind people to run the shop that I love so dearly. Wonderful place to go!

This shop purchases stolen merchandise then charges you to get your property back. Don’t miss the pathetic lecture on how the pawn shop helped you out by making you pay to get your stolen property returned. Stores like this create a market for stolen property which begets more crime.

These guys are fast, freindly, and more than fair. Superb selection of guitars, amplification, jewlery and car stereo equipment. Ive been shopping and pawning items for atleast 10 years. When i go in there i feel comfortable knowing that im not getting ripped off and never question the values that my stuff is worth. They research the stuff you bring in and reach an agreement with you rather than saying "I'll give you this much" and thats it. By far the best prices i've ever seen on used and vintage guitar gear. Ive worked music retail for 15 years and know what a guitar is worth and i've never seen anything there thats overpriced. I give five stars with confidence. Dont bother with any other pawn shops. Go to Olathe Trading Post!
