Early in our program we found that each person is unique and it requires one-on-one treatment to adapt our solutions to serve their specific needs. We must discover the precise type of mental and physical exercises that are best suited to their objectives. To accomplish this we do an evaluation of each student before they begin the Learning Technics program. Most evaluations conducted on students focus on identifying symptoms such as ADHD, poor reading, etc. Most parents with a hyperactive child or a poor reader already know that. What they want to find out from Pheno brain training  is the cause of the hyperactivity or poor reading and how to eliminate those underlying causes.

HOW TO TREAT THE CAUSES not the Symptoms

The basic principles involved in re-modeling or increasing the capacity of the neural network of the brain are similar regardless of the type of learning problem. The basic activity is re- patterning to develop new automatic response patterns. The new patterns are more effective and efficient than those which previously existed. This type of re-patterning is used to re-train stroke victims to speak. It is used to train people with compulsive behaviors to control their behavior. Our technology is not new. The only part that is new is its application to correcting underlying, automatic patterns that are impeding learning.

The Physio-Neuro therapy program is tailored to individuals with different needs by developing different re-patterning. For graduate students, the emphasis may be on analyzing the essence of a theory in order to pass a test. For teens, the work is usually on problems with attention, focus and conceptualization (math is especially unpleasant for those with conceptualization problems). For younger children it is usually basic reading and arithmetic skills.
WE DEAL WITH UNDERLYING CAUSES
This point needs to be emphasized and re-emphasized. Most learning assistance, especially tutoring, tries to improve performance by dealing primarily with the symptoms or expressions of the problems. If the students problem is poor reading or math, the teachers or tutors focus on drilling and practicing reading or math. For the struggling student, this usually only produces short-term gain and the next year more tutoring is needed. Our approach has been to go beyond this by developing the students underlying skills and abilities. We try to discover the underlying causes of the persons learning problems by determining the weaknesses in their basic perceptual and processing skills. When these are corrected the need for remedial help is ended forever.
LEARNING, ATHLETICS, EMOTIONS, ETC. are all controlled AUTOMATICALLY.
WE CANNOT CONSCIOUSLY CONTROL THEM.
Early in our program development we noticed that, as students mental skills improved, so did their athletic skills and their ability to control their emotional behavior.
