Prairie Trail Junior High School was founded in 2004 and is a member of the Olathe School District that has 31 elementary schools, eight junior high schools and four senior high schools. The school offers a variety of clubs, service organizations, activities and competitions. These include spirit, drama and art club, science Olympiad, mush, creative writing, military history, rocket, movie making, model building, lettermen's club, student council, library activity council, service learners and problems solving. The school s academic program includes art, band, business, music, family and consumer science, health, industrial technology, math, language arts and orchestra. It also provides other several subjects, such as physical education, science, social studies, and speech and drama. Prairie Trail Junior High School is located in Olathe, Kan.
