My visit went ok; however, it would be nice if they were on Saturdays. Their hours are not consumer friendly at all because they are open basically the same hours that most people work. Find it inconvenient to pick up our glasses cause I work the same hours that they're open. I had to take a day off for an eye exam but will not take one off to pick them up. They are a business that caters to the public therefore should absolutely be open on Saturdays!!!!

I am very disappointed with the care, or should I say the lack of care, from this corporation. I will call them a corporation because they are not interested in providing excellent or even adequate patient care. They are only interested in the almighty dollar. For years, my son has received yearly vision exams from Dr. Alwan. Unfortunately, Dr. Alwan retired and we were referred to Allegany Eye Associates. Dr. Alwan found a way to see my son yearly for eye exams as he does wear glasses, but his insurance will only pay for an eye exam every 2 years. I find this policy unacceptable. In fact, I have been criticized by other health care providers for not obtaining yearly eye exams. Allegany Eye Associates refuses to find a way to see my son yearly due to their need for the almighty dollar. How do we know if my son needs a change in prescription or is having any other eye concerns if we can not obtain an appointment? My other son did have an eye appointment which revealed vision problems.
