Contrary to his stated philosophy "committed to personal and respectful service for clients and their families" he doesn't seem so interested in families as much as his clients. I suppose that is the nature of some lawyers.



My ex-wife has an extensive documented history of extreme violence, not only against myself and our son, but police officers, subsequent domestic partners, and family members. These were documented by numerous police reports and firsthand observers and presented to the court.



If it weren't for the numerous other acts of violence that had nothing to do with me, you might dismiss this evaluation as simply being that of a bitter spouse. This is not the case at all, and I believe all parties in a case deserve representation.



This long, extreme and chronic history of one sided violence didn't stop Paul Battan from representing her as a victim when it came to the hearings.



Really, what are the odds that she was the victim of so many different parties for 9 years?



Yes, Paul in knowledgeable, but is this an attorney that you would want to support morally? His philosophy is much like that of the 1950's when sexually molested victims were presented in court by similar attorneys as inviting the act of molestation as a defense.



Just ask yourself:

Is this the type of behavior I want to support in any attorney?



If your answer in "no" then simply move on the another attorney.

It's as simple as that.
