We have been taking our dog, Blue, to Doggie Haven since May of 2007 for doggie day care. My husband and I both work during the day so we felt that it would be best if our puppy would not be home alone.Doggie Haven was our solution. Blue, our male Rottweiler was 8 weeks old when we first brought him there. He has been going there Monday thru Friday ever since. He loves it and we love knowing that our dog is cared for and loved while we are away. Marcia's guidance and expertise have helped us to become better dog owners. She has given us a better appreciation for the time and effort that goes into raising a well-behaved dog. When Blue turned 4 months old, Marcia recommended that he undergo 3 weeks of boarded training. It was very hard to let go and give our new puppy over for that 3 weeks, but it was worth it. She took our puppy and gave him her full attention. She taught him manners and confidence. He learned to follow commands, walk with a leash, sit, down, and come. Andrea and Ryan

Please, please do not leave your dog here!! She needs to be shut down. Marcia is very mean, uses shock collars on the dogs and beats on them. Her own dog is underweight and mistreated. She has already let several dogs die on her property. Go some where else if you care about your animal. She will be nice to your dog in front of you but as soon as you leave, your dog won't come back the same. I beg you don't go there.

We brought our dog Bo to Doggie Haven in December of 2006 for training. She came highly recommended by a close friend of our family. Bo stayed with Marcia for 3 weeks while she trained him. Before he went to stay with her, his behavior was totally out of control. When we went back to get him, he was a different dog. He was well mannered, calm and happy.His eyes were bright, his coat was shiny and he was totally well behaved. He had been well fed and was very clean. He was very happy to see us, but he showed compete trust and love towards her in his behavior. He often shies away from people he doesn't know, but he was comfortable and happy with her as she worked with him.When we went back for a follow up visit with her to go over training techniques, Bo was completely excited to see her again. My husband and I took our pure breed Springer Spanial, "Lizzy", to have obedience training at "Doggie Haven." Our dog believe me had no manners and really needed some. We left our precious dog with Marcia for 21 days. We did not even see her till the 21 days were over. When I finally got to come get "Lizzy", we were all very excited to get her home. She was missed very much. When, I got her, I was so impressed with how clean and well kept she was. She also was like another dog! Our little Lizzy was now a little Lady with a tremendous amount of manners! I was sooo impressed wither her behavior and training, all I could do was thank Marcia for such a great job she did in training and taking care of our little "Lizzy"! Marcia even took the time to show us what she had taught Lizzy and even helped us by doing a follow up visit to our house to check on things.Wince then, we have used her kennel to board our dog for trips and again we found our little "Lizzy" in such exceptional care. We have seen her with several dogs over the years that she has trained and cared for. She treats everyone of them as if they were her own pet.We have seen this loving care she gave with our own little Yorkie. When we first got him she clipped his toe nails which the grooming salon could not do. I was very nervous at the time but after seeing her with him I could see she knew what she was doing, and he was safe with her. He must have felt it to, because he settled down and let her clip his nails.We were also having trouble with getting our new dog to eat when we first got him and she gave us good advice of what food to feed him and how to care for him. I have known Marcia for several years now, and during that time our dog has spent many days at Marcia's Doggy Haven. There has never been any cause for concern regarding my dog or the treatment he has received while under her care. My dog is also a small breed dog, a Papillion and he weighs in at a whopping 5.4 pounds. When I arrive to pick him up after a stay at Doggie Haven he is cheerful, clear eyed, and shows no sign of neglect. Marcia runs a fabulous kennel and I wouldn't take my dog (Li'l Dude) to anyone else.

I left my happy healthy dog with this kennel for a week and got back a limping, fightened shell of a dog that I had to take to the vet to take care of the neglect this kennel caused my dog. He could barely hold his body weight when I picked him up. We now have rehab and lots of meds to get him back on his feet. He was a happy guy and now is afraid of everything.

These folks have let several animal die in their care due to negelect. They mistreated my boxer and came back from the kennel having lost more than a third of his body weight in less than a month's time. He was covered in sores and had fresh wounds in several spots. If you love your animal, you won't take him there. I would give them zero stars if it was an option!

I left my little Shih Tzu and he did great ,was very affordable and Teddy Bear was bathed as was his bed before I picked him up, was also very affordable and will use their service again.Thanks Doggie Haven for the great job.

Very courteous and caring facility. Cares so much for the job at hand. Very affordable so people can go on their vacations. I would leave my pets in their hands at anytime. Thank you Doggie Haven for loving and taking such good care of my "Jazzy"!!!!!!
