I brought my beautiful golden here for a spay. The careless vet tech, with no apparent knowledge of dogs with guard coat, butchered her coat while shaving her. Her entire stomach and side is shaved, about five inches above her nipples on either side, and the entire way to her front legs.

My family has raised show dogs for over 20 years, and I have seen animals after far more invasive surgeries, c-sections and intestinal blockages and never have I seen so much hair removed.

I will, obviously, be finding a new veterinarian because this proved to me that these people have no knowledge, care, or respect for my animal.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOUBLE COATED DOGS HERE!!

EVH is the best place in Olympia for pet care. The doctors are compassionate and caring and do everything in their power to care for your loved one, and also help put pet parents' mind at ease. Dr. Steve Hamilton is by far the best vertinarian I have ever come across. Thanks to Dr. Steve, my big Rottweiler Buck has had both ACL's successfully replaced, and has had 9 years of wonderful vet care. He loves going to see Dr. Steve!

Evergreen Vet has kind, caring and compassionate workers from the front desk to the Dr's. Only thing: when we got our pup fixed we were hoping for a bit of down time for him and he healed so quickly after the operation that he was rearing to go in no time it seemed! Good place to find care for pets which are really family.
