Human-Animal Solutions serves both humans and dogs in a compassionate, caring, and professional atmosphere. My name is Ann Howie, and Im here to help you both. Humans come to me for mental health therapy for grief, loss (including pet loss), anxiety, depression, job stress, aging (whether our own or that of our parents), divorce, and every-day stresses. Some insurance plans accepted. I will help you identify what can be strengthened and what might need to be discarded to help you cope well with what's going on now and achieve the life you want. Through mindfulness practice and insight into life dynamics, my clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make their own decisions. Learn how to think about, experience, and act effectively when dealing with life stresses. I will listen to you, help you clarify your issues, and encourage independence. Together we will make healing a bigger part of your life. Canines come to me for puppy socialization, training (puppies through elders), solving behavior problems, improving confidence, increasing physical fitness, therapy dog work, and CARAT assessments. I will meet you in your home or in my center. I use positively based training methods, and I have over 30 years experience and proven quality customer care.
