Captain did a great dream catcher piece on me from my birthday in honor of my grandma took time to listen to what I wanted and made it my favorite piece his prices are great too highly recommend

Got my dimples pierced and even though it was pretty busy everyone was so nice and professional I definitely will be returning in the future and recomend Ink Life to all my friends and family truly an awsome experience

I found the most amazing tattoo studio in Olympia or anywhere else. I have several friends that are tattoo artist but they dont live here in the state but I showed them the work Lou did on me and they were really impressed. He did amazing work. very professional atmosphere and everyone there was so nice and friendly. I will forever be a client and go nowhere else. Thank you so much

I have several tattoos and have never had an experience like the one I had a INKLIFE. Captain Lu was wonderful and the experience I had there will always be remembered with fondness. His 40 years of experience truly showed through. He did exactly what I wanted and I could not have been more pleased. The comments I get from people about the tat have all been more thanamazing, very positive. It was an honor to have such a professional work on me. They are Kind to everyone and clean! They have lifted me up out of my wheel chair and put me on the tattoo table 3 times, im no smally cookie, but they didnt act put out at all. other tattoo shops wouldnt ever even be bothered to talk to me. they are clean, and me and my hubby have been going to this place for over 8 years. if you want to be treated right, go here, they treat everyone like they matter, and they do great custom work. real attention to detail on the tattoo work its so bright and clean, and im a stickler for details. i cant wait till i get back in the area, try em out you wont be sorry!!!

FANTASTIC SHOP WILL FOR SURE GO BACK! HOLY CRAP the shop looks amazing! it makes you feel good just to walk in the place. My girl got several piercings at Inklife and i talked to 2 of their artists about tattoos, i love this shop! it is by far the friendliest in town!!! so much custom art here to look at...it feels like an artistic place and so clean and sterile they open everything in front of u and throw it all away too. u know for sure they don't reuse anything, ive heard stories of shops that arent near as clean!!! , autoclave right there to see, the place is spotless!!!!!!!!! and everyone is always nice and helpful every time we go there! i cant imagine dealing with the mean attitude and im so cool kinda crap that a lot of the shops in town have! come on, tattoos are cool but we are all people peeps! whats up, u know right!? GO TO INKLIFE! for real! im not getting paid and i dont work there, i just want everyone to know this is the spot in Olympia! there is no better place to go!!!. soft touch, amusing as hell capt lu makes me laugh and mike all them have great art work and my girl loves Dustin, man he knows so much about piercing, im not into them , but if i was i sure wouldn't go to the mall, pick his brain for sure! GO TO THIS SHOP! It is seriously the BEST tattoo and piercing shop in the Olympia area, not only do they do amazing custom work, but their attitudes and customer service can not be beat and I have been to so many shops in this town, some people jn these other shops can't even be bothered to talk to you and answer a few simple questions and some want you to pay $100 just to talk to an artist. I was looking for 2 different styles of work, I wanted a realistic bride of Frankenstein kinda big and my wife wanted some simple bold bright flowers on her lower back and later wants to get a portrait and she got pierced while we were there too. Wow people that take the time to explain stuff to you and don't make you feel stupid. You should see the portfolios of the guys in this shop. WOW! they really have a ton of time doing this u can tell. Really smooth clean work. The atmosphere in the shop is not compairable to any other shop in town. They greet you with a smile as soon as you come in but they don't try to push u into anything and it is just a relaxing feeling in there. Its bright and clean and just kinda a chill place. We searched for the right spot and this is it! We wont go anywhere else, and we both have a lot of tattoo work and time in shops all over Cali, Idaho and WA, this is our shop!!!!!

INKLIFE is an amazingly different studio from al ot of tattoo places you walk into, and our attitudes are always welcoming and happy to answer questions! we pride ourselves on it. Capt LU is still around and so am I , Dustin, Chopper, Mike, and some amazing counter help and apprentice, none of the other Altered States staff is here, we have remodeled as of 2012 and are doing some amazing changes in 2013 as wel. myspace.com/alteredstatestattoo i have said it 100times and will keep saying it. this shop is the best. clean, nice, nice people, friendly from start to finish not jsut till they get your money. they open everything in front of you, they have a soft touch when it comes to piercings and tattoos. go there go there!!!!! especially now that not very nice nick is gone. he was the only bad thing ever i think in 15 yrs or almost something like that they have been here in town. he was a well...could have been alot nicer to people, but he doesn work there now, and so its 1000% the only place to go. they give you great prices and will work with you on designs till they and you figure out what they want

this lady is really super, totally down to earth but looks really cool huge dreads and lots of tattoos , you can tell she loves her job and really cares about the people that come in her place

Talk about a fun and funny bunch of artists! Custom art is some of the best in the area, and bedside manner is superior to all in town! Capt Lu has such a soft touch u barely feel the needle goin in. an dwhen it comes to the best piercer in teh areaMichelle Birk is the best

This shop made my day, after searching from just this side of portland to all the way to auburn, this shop stands out above the rest. they have men and women to tattoo that are different ages, different styles they are best at, they give you a tour if you ask, and everything is so clean and in its place, doesnt smell like a restaurant or taco bell like some shops do, the shop is well lit up and bright colors and feels like a relaxing place rather than up tight and snotty. they are so professional, know about aftercare, give options, give you ideas for your tattoos rather than expecting you to know what you want, im not an artist, they are and they really work to get you what YOU want. i recommend this place with the highest gold stars behind it u can give;

Holy WOW! Wow I walked by for the first time in awhile and its all like totally a different space inside...that jerk manager guy is gone and this cute mohawk chic is runnin the joint now and she tattoos and is one of the piercers too....and there are a bunch of new peoples that work there and new jewelry and some killer art on the walls! anyway i got a piercing and split but its worth checkin out if u havent been downtown in awhile!
