Both of my children are Kumon success stories. My daughter, who is a Kumon program completer, was just accepted into the UW honors program. The UW honors program is for the top 5% of applicants to the UW. She was also accepted into UCSD as a human biology major, which is the #2 biology program in the U.S. My son is only in 5th grade but he recently scored a 99th percentile composite score score for both math and reading on the COGAT test. This allowed him to get into the Gifted program next year in middle school. The best part about his success is that when he was four-years-old he was diagnosed with a speech delay and was one full standard deviation below average. What a difference that seven years of both Kuman math and reading has made for him. Kumon works!
