Lakeview village apartments are dumps. The heaters are not up to code in most of the units that force people to have windows open even during the winter. Nothing is energy efficient so be prepared to have outragous power and gas bills especially during the winter. The current mangement company does not follow landlord tenant laws. The owner does not seem to care. When it rains there will be an gross sewer smell, they will try to pass it off as the mushroom farm but it doesn't smell outside the complex. Sewer backs up into the units and there is toxic mold throughout the property. I have given written notice several times and the response has been that these are issues I'm repsonsible for. You can actally see mold coming through the dry wall from the outside. The unit wasnt properly cleaned before I moved in. The cupboard doors regularly fall off and I constantly have to retighten them. My kitchen sink did not even have a P trap to prevent sewer gases from coming into my unit. The 2 bathroom they claim in the add is actually 1 and 3/4 and the shower stall in the master suites drain is a 1/4 of an inch off which allows drainage into the foundation below. They only do repairs when an authority comes in and tells them it needs to be fixed. They knew in November of 2013 my heater was not to code it was in a bedroom closet with no fresh air intake and it was kicking combustion into my bedroom which could cause asphyxiation. When. PSE came out and discover this and a Crack in the exchanger they shut off my gas until repairs were made. We went 6 days with no heat. The aset manager who is with Olympic Management came and yelled at me when I explained and emailed his boss that he was breaking the law. Yes he came to my door yelling. When apologies were in order. I have never been late with my rent and I have never had a complaint. I even kept the garden area for bo th my unit and the neighbors weeded and neat because the company does not do it. They do not do pest control and they faIL to clean up the gutters as often as needed which results in property being flooded and backing up into th e units. I have watched the building in front of me back up with sewere for 3 days before they called a plumber. I have sewer gases backing up into my unit. My unit needs serious repairs done to the plumbing and they have ignored me. The asset manager has a history of domestic violence and you can find it on the Washington State court website with a name search. He even tried to come into my unit when I wasn't home and my min or children were. After he yelled at me after the heater issue I do not feel comfortable with him in my home and with his history I don't know how he has the ability to come into anyone's home furthermore if I had the history he does he wouldn't be able to live here so how is it he has access to my home at all. He will also claim emergency access 6 days after initial complaint. He is dishonest and doesn't care about the law. This place is a dump and until they do the repairs that are needed they shouldn't be able to rent out a unit. My family has been ill since we have been here. We have all suffered bacterial infections because of the sewer gases backing up into our unit. Do not move her do not rent from Olympic Management.
