The Olympia High School offers classes from grades nine through 12 and has an enrollment of more than 1,800 students. Located in Tumwater, Wash., the school offers a broad range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, clubs and co-curricular organizations. Additionally, it provides alternative programs in reading, math, academic contractual learning and social affective block for students with adjustment needs. Established in 1907, the school consists of several departments, such as administration, art, business, English, family and consumer science, foreign language, industrial technology, music, science, social studies and technology. The school also has a performing art center that has a seating capacity for more than 700 people. It serves as a venue for artistic expression for Olympia High School, its district and the community. Its center also facilitates educational opportunities for students in areas of performing arts, allowing hands-on experience and career preparation.
