My Family and I were seeing Dawn for some step family and anger management issues. I should have caught on earlier into the meetings that she triggered when she felt she was being interrupted. She said as much to me in an individual meeting. I went as far as asking my husband to try not to interrupt her during our sessions. He really tried to hold up his end of the bargain. However, on our last meeting after Dawn had interrupted my husband a few times herself and clearly was trying to lead him in the "discussion", my husband simply stated, "Now wait a minute Dawn." At that point Dawn yelled at him. Told him she had had enough of him and yelled at him to leave. When he tried to apologize, in a matter of seconds Dawn threatened to call the police, picked up the phone and my husband ran out of the room. He wasn't being intimidating or threatening in any manner. After which she tried to keep me in the office. Someone with clear anger issues herself had no business doing talk therapy.
