Winco is my new favorite grocery. I live on the west side of town in Carlyon Beach which is basically like driving to Shelton, but I come to town to shop at Winco because I like it so much. They have a pretty good selection of products and the prices are the best on nearly everything. They post price comparisons with walmart, fred meyer, and other stores on items through out the store, and usually beat those other stores by a good margin. They have lots of check stands and they are manned well. I have been in Safeway before and they had the same number of checkstands but only one or two were in operation and I had to wait forever. That doesn't happen here, they call for more checkers so the lines are rarely more than one or two carts deep to check out. Nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and seem like they enjoy working here. I especially like that it is employee owned and operated. So they have a stake in the business. I give them 4 stars. As a single parent It's really important to me to economize as much as possible. I have found that shopping at Winco for my groceries helps me save a ton while allowing me to get everything I need.
