Biggest joke ever.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Victor Logan, founder of Benefit Holdings, Inc. asked me to create a website for a new business. I was very transparent about the costs and kept him up to date on all major changes before they had taken place to make sure he approved of them. After weeks of meeting with himself and the owner of the new business, I finally had logos created to their satisfactions and a beautiful website with several pages, including Google Calendar synchronization for their staffing schedules and an online store. He had pushed back the day I was to be paid twice, and finally we met up and went over the invoice of all the work I have done. I was charging him damn near minimum wage for my hours AND I threw him a discount on top of that. He agreed with the price, got out his phone and acted as if he were paying the invoice, and then told me (in front of two witnesses) that he paid it and the funds should arrive within a few minutes. All of a sudden he was in a huge rush to leave and we could not even finish our meeting. I understand things come up, but an hour later, I had still not received the funds so I resent the invoice and texted him. He replied saying that he was not going to pay me. I then contacted the business owner to apologize for no website because I was not getting paid. We did a three way call and they worked it out. The conversation ended with Victor saying he was going to take care of that as soon as we hung up. Immediately after the call had ended, he texted me saying he still was not going to pay. I told him that if he did not want the website that is fine, but that I still need paid for the 30 hours I worked on the logo, website, time, and gas for the meetings we had between himself and the business owner. He offered to pay me half of what was owed once the site went public.. That would be just barely enough to make the site go live, but would not cover any of the work I had put into it. Simply put, this man wants you to work for free and is terrible at making time to focus on what the needs are to succeed (way too much on his plate and it's all falling off!) I highly discourage anyone from using his services or working for him unless paid upfront well in advance.

I told him it's fine if he did not want the website, but I still need paid for the hours I worked. to this day, he refuses.
