Provided by YPmobileDirty glass that I put my mouth on and tasted something funny and the manager was very unfriendly when I brought it to his attention. My waitress had a bad attitude and was completely disrespectful. There was food literally stuck to my glass where I put my mouth !! Disgusting ESP at a sushi place w raw fish !!

A girlfriend and I went to Blue for our lunch hour last week, on a Wednesday. We arrived at 12:05pm and the "hostess," who i think was actually the manager, greeted us and I told her just 3 today, she replied, "It'll be 10 minutes before we can get to you." I looked around and noticed there was maaaybe 3 other tables seated and one mother w/2 kids at the bar...Confused, I told her we were going to just sit at the bar, since we only had an hour. She said fine, and that it'll still be 10 minutes before they can get to us... WHY?! They werent busy.. but whatever. So we sit and order drinks, that takes 15 minutes to make, yes, they were cocktails, yes we were sitting at the bar, and yes the bartender has NO CLUE how to make anything. We order our food right away, food comes out piece by piece which is fine, not a huge bother, and it was good, as always, but then we ask for another bev and she says it'll be awhile before i can get it made... uh why? whatre u doing? At this point the mother and her 2 children that were sitting at the bar had left... Its getting close to the end of our lunch our and we ask for the bill... another 10 minutes.. Meanwhile we asked her about our last roll and if it was ready because we had to leave, she had no clue where it was or where she should go look and looked at us as if we were in the wrong for asking where our food was??? So we get the bill finally and put 2 cards in the pocket and cash, split evenly. She comes back after standing at her little podium for 5 minutes and says "how did u wana do this?" Well we would like to split it even....She could NOT get it. We again tell her to take the cash out and split the rest on the cards... She's says well who had what? NO! OMG! So dumb... finally gets it, walks away & brings the cards back and says, "So did you still want that other roll?" We said no, keep it, as were walking out the door... Now dont get me wrong, we werent diva's, we were actually extremely polite considering the circumstances.. But if she is ever there when I chose to eat there, I will turn around and go to Hiro. =)

I visted The Blue Sushi Sake & Grill on friday night. I never wanted ot cared to eat anything raw or fishy like. I have to say floor was excellent. "Oh My" The HOTEL CALIFORNIA ROLL was great. We each ordered something different and sampled. Everything was excellent. I had a great conversation with my pallett and said we will have to do more of this . Great food and great service. Even the cucumber water was good. P.S. I went to another great resturant this weekend also and asked if they could put a slice of cucumber in my water.. What a nice clean refreshing taste. Omaha resturant need a model to follow (BLUE) is your answer

I love Blue! It's my favorite place to eat on the weekends. My favorite dish is the sushi & calamari. It's amazing. I will be eating there again soon!

Provided by YP.comI have never been a fan of this place even when it first opened up and was considered a hot spot by some of the local's that have no idea what real sushi is supposed to be. Omaha has many restaurants that serve a better product for less money. Based on my experience here, I have not visited either the downtown or baby location but friends assure me that both fall in line with the comments I just made about this location. If you want to go to a bar that serves a very corrupted version of sushi, go here. If you want true Sushi I suggest Hiro, Sushi Japan or Prestige.

Provided by YP.comI can't say I can agree with the prior reviewers. I love sushi, but not Blue. It's a very trendy place, but the ethic cuisine it dishes is not authentic...Sushi should be fresh, and in my opinion mostly uncooked. The menu offers alot of variety, but's it's definely americanized.
