I was in a accident in July, I have a partner who is deployed and I can't make any moves as far as buying a car until he gets back so when we decided that I take the cab to drop my son to school every morning, the school is less than a mile and it shouldn't be a problem, I guess we didn't anticipate this much drama. The cab driver was arguing, he won't go to the first destination, which was the first school, he was screaming and threatening to drop of us in the middle of the street if I keep saying drop me off . He finally dropped us off at mockingbird and he said get out of my car and give me my money, he was extremely rude, he called his boss to say I was trying not to pay, then when he finally calm down and realized that all the kids did not go to the mockingbird, and the first destination I was telling him to go was blumfield elementary, he said he will drop them off, the kids were late, they did not want to get back in the cab, they were scared and the reason I drop off my neighbors kids first is because they have to be at school at 8am and they were already late. My neighbor and I help each other out since our husbands are deployed and so far, on my part, her kids have been late twice to school, they can only be late 15 times in a school year and we are just in week 3 of school session. One of the supervisors called me and said he will deal with the issue. I already cancelled the service before the supervisor contacted me, I cannot start my mornings this way, I guess we have to walk for now until we figure out our next move. We had a few great drivers but when its bad, its really bad. I did not see a real reason for him not to go to the first destinatIon, he claimed that I should have mentioned it to the dispatch even though I was told by the dispatch back in August when this was set up that they will put put my final destination in the system and I should tell the driver that I need to stop somewhere first, which has been the same routine in the last 3 weeks. This companies need to do better at screening their drivers, if my husband was not deployed, I will never ever deal with issues like this.

I took my first cab ride today. Instead of the 5-20 minutes it should have taken to pick me up, it took about 30. As the cab pulls up I can hear the bass thumping. I get into the back seat and he turns down the music. As soon as we get going though, he turns it back up. I don't like rap music. He then actually started asking me for directions, I obviously didn't know, hence why I was taking a cab in the first place. Within seconds his phone starts ringing. He answers & I listen to him literally say "When it comes to me selling weed, I need the money up front, no IOU's on narcotics!".. I was in the cab not even 5 minutes and my charge was $20. Ridiculous.. Not happening again!

I called to schedule a cab for 3am. The dispatcher took all this info and then says the address back to me in conclusion. He had that wrong. So I gave a few extra directions because I've been a mystery to cabs before. And I said I'd be outside waiting. Dispatcher says "okay". I said don't you want my phone number? I've got it, he says. I'm calling from my home phone and I'll be outside, don't you want a phone number you can reach me at, I say. So he guesses he does. And I expect he should read it back to me considering he's gotten my street wrong and thought he knew how to reach me, not. But he doesn't read it back. So I say, aren't you going to read that back. Silence. A big sigh, and he reads it back. I MEAN, IF YOU DON'T WANT ME AS A CUSTOMER I'LL FIND ANOTHER CAB.
