I also had to wait a very long time in the waiting room, as well as my sister who had her exam on a different date. I went in 45 minutes after my appointment was scheduled, and my sister had to wait for an hour and a half even though no other patients were there. Then, the woman who gave me the first part of the exam was too soft spoken and I couldn't hear a word she was saying. She seemed tired and apathetic about everything, like she was at the end of her rope or something, (probably because she works there) and it made me feel uncomfortable. Then, after I specifically told them that I had been on my last pair of contacts for over two weeks and I really need at least a trial pair to get me through, they told me "ok, we'll get a trial pair in for you as soon as possible." I waited for over two weeks and never heard from them. Then I called and asked if they were in, and they said "yes, we left you a message 10 days ago." Dr. Malashock is very good, but the staff needs to go. Unkempt, unpleasant, catty women do not equal good service. They are slow-moving, gossipy employees that probably lose the doctor business.

I would not reccomend this eye care service to anyone. I went to the one on 78th and Cass. The ladies behind the desk were rude. I sat in the office for an hour later than my appointment was scheduled before the doctor could see me. They did not tell me that I what I needed to bring so I had to schedule another appointment in order to finish the exam. The contacts they gave me hurt my eyes and would not work with me well to get me a different brand. They were difficult to work with. I finally had them transfer my prescription to another optomitrist to provide me with the service I needed. Even that was difficult because I had to call several times to even make sure the information was transfered when they said they would. I DO NOT THINK ANYONE SHOULD GO THERE. I don't know how the recieved the awards they did for such poor service.
