I hate to say this as I'm in total shock over how this time everything has been poorly managed. Ive never in my life ever had a problem with taking medications before. And the way he makes you feel is disgusting. He had been my dr since 2016 for my nerve damage. Since my accident in 2018 of March, and then in May I was hit with soo much pain from being t-boned in a major accident that I could no longer work. I've been explaining every visit that I feel the pain meds aren't working any longer. But he kept giving me the same stuff. All they do is increase the gabepetin or tell me don?t take it this way but this way and back. When it's not just nerve damage. I'm now suffering from extreme herniated discs in my back. I can't even tell you how bad it hurts. And now?? Oh man what a weekend. I had to go to the emergency room Saturday afternoon. The epidural didn't work very well and my back is in excruciating pain. I'm changing pain management doctors. After everything that went down. I have to take care of me. The emergency nurse practitioner said I was obviously in major pain and gave me the meds I needed and a shot. I'm taking ibuprofen and Tylenol throughout the weekend which is like HELL. I just am so saddened Doctor Edwards messed up everything as he didn't send the scripts like he advised me he was doing to increase the dosage for pain. When I got the phone call that my prescription was ready to be picked up, I disposed the ones that weren't working and went to pick the new ones up after receiving the call cause little relief is better then no relief, why would I continue to take a medication that doesn't work anymore as I instructed for months? He decided to wait I guess to send for the new dosage and now I'm in too much pain. After calling his office surprised, one of his staff said I did it the wrong way in disposing it. Well, why wasn't that apart of your conversation then? Think I would've disposed of anything unless under the assumption that this was the right thing to do. I had been instructed by the pharmacy before that any remaining meds should be properly mixed and disposed of with the solution I used. And to add to that? After a friend told me he has a lot of terrible reviews. I had to make decision. After everything I am choosing to go to another doctor. I have to look out for myself. And honestly I wasn't too happy with him much lately as he doesn't listen to me when I tell him things. When you are already in the worst pain you can imagine and the doctor doesn't seem to care! I'm going to have to say goodbye!

I thought I would check this Dr.'s website since I have an appointment; and I get to read this reveiw.where this human being clearly states his understanding of how busy and overworked pain Dr.'s are, and he is not a whimp. Clearly one should read exactly what one is stating and one's communication or lack of with any Dr. As for him not going back; well did his pain stop?

I understand that pain management doctor's are often over worked and don't have the time to get a personal relationship with every patient they have, but I was very disappointed with Dr. Jeffrey Edwards. I had just started seeing Dr. Edwards on a Workers Compensation medical visit for some back pain and he was very short with me, I felt like I was being treated like a drug addict just because I needed medication for my pain. The worst part is that he decided to give me a shot in my back, but instead of asking me if I was ready, or if it was ok, he jammed a needle in my spine and shot the medicine in there, I felt like I was a side of beef. I am not a wimp and can take a great deal of pain, this brought tears to my eyes.I would never go to him for any reason again.
