Pawnee Elementary School, founded in 1966, is affiliated with the Omaha Public Schools. Located in Omaha, Neb., the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through six. It offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Pawnee Elementary School also provides English as a second language, special education, computer education, vocal music, speech, traveling art, and gifted and talented programs. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
