Founded in 1960, Rockbrook Elementary School offers a range of educational opportunities for more than 300 students. It serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in reading, math, science, art, music, physical education and foreign languages. Rockbrook Elementary School administers gifted and talented education programs for students with special needs. It maintains a parents center. The school has an early childhood center that administers before- and after-care school programs. Rockbrook Elementary School maintains a student council and chess and media clubs. It is governed by Westside Community Schools, which additionally manages several elementary, middle and high educational institutions.
