I have always wanted to do some type of Martial Arts and I was introduced to San-Mai. The instructors are very knowledgeable, caring, and strive to bring the best out of you. Not only do they teach you the techniques, but they ensure you are doing it properly and explain the "why" behind them."One can only learn if the mind is open to the teachings ... and you only get out of it what you put into it!"

I did some shopping around at various martial arts school. San-Mai has a great facility, and caring staff of instructors. They've been awesome for my son.

If you are sending your child here to develop their character skills then it is alright, but the kids self defense wil be, straight up poor... My children were in it for three and a half years, a couple of them even recieved their "black belts" A black belt at san-mai means nothing... Three years of training through countless belts developed to bring the place a quick buck...

San-Mai martial arts is an amazing martial arts school that focuses on character development! I have noticed a remarkable improvement in my children's self-esteem. The new San-Mai school at 180th and Harrison looks top notch and is a definite must-see for anyone interested in martial arts for that area.

Master Dickerson has an excellent staff of instructors, and the school facilities are top notch.
