I purchased a used GMC truck from Stan Olsen in July. They claimed that they had the truck inspected and serviced by a GMC dealer and that the truck was in excellent condition. Less than 30 days later, I took the truck in for service and my shop found that the axle seals were in need of replacement - a $500 repair. My shop said that the axle seals were most likely in need of repair at the time that I purchased the truck. I spoke with Scott, the manager of used car sales at Stan Olsen, several times. He strung me along for several weeks. He made it seem that Stan Olsen would actually do something about it, such as split the repair cost. Now he is completely dodging my calls. This morning, he pretended that he could not hear me and then when I called back immediately, I was told he was not in the building. At the very least, he could act like a man and tell me that their answer is no so that I can arrange my own repair. If you plan to buy from them, get your own inspection done.
