We came in very short notice for a wedding gown and the customer service was absolutely out-of-this world. Even though we were some of the last customers in the store, my wife was able to try on ~10 gowns and she found one that she loved at a great price. Great people, great store, and stunning designs - the perfect place for that once-in-a-lifetime occassion!

DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE OLD. I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from Suburban Bridal, giving them the benefit of the doubt that the negative reviews were old, and that things may have changed since then. I was wrong. Though the sales staff were polite and easy to work with, the order staff were not. We ordered the bridesmaid dress in January for a July Wedding. At the time of order we were advised that we should receive the dresses in 3-4 months. As all of my bridesmaids were from out of town this would give them appropriate time to get the dresses tailored. The 4 months that were advised came and passed. Upon contacting the company I was told that they would be an additional 2-3 weeks due to a manufacturer holiday. 1 month later, I was advised that they had looked up the wrong order and My dresses would not be in for an additional 2 weeks. I did finally get my dresses 15 days before I wedding.



The order staff were rude and un-compassionate during this entire ordeal. Honestly I did not receive one apology for the stress that this caused in my otherwise stress free wedding. We had to pay an additional $150+ to ship the dresses to each bridesmaids, so they would receive them in time to get them fitted. When I expressed this to the ordering personnel, they brushed off my concerns of my dress being out side the original window due to a misunderstanding and the manufacturer err.



Honestly, an apology would have gone a long way in my case. It is a pity that they see their customers as a one time purchase and do not work to build a relationship that would keep them coming back. (Or keep them from letting everyone they know of their horrible experience and advise them to go elsewhere.)

Renee was very short with my daughter and I and the grooms mother and my other two daughters were present as well. She did act like we were a bother to her. Weddings can be very emotional some understanding would have helped. The bridesmaids dresses we ordered were way to BIG and the dresses both had to be taken in 7 inches each. That is a lot. I now understand they order them way to big so their seamstresses have to do the alterations. The seamstresses will only take cash for the alterations which were over $200.00 I was lucky I had 200.00 with but it was over so I had to give them all the change I had plus some change from the grooms mother. The seamstress said I still owe 4cents. Really. They tell me the seamstresses only take cash so they don't have to pay the extra 3% for running my credit card or my check. No sure why my check isn't good enough. I have 2 other daughters we will not be going back to Suburban Bridal for them. They say they show us a measurement chart but I know I never saw one. I wish I had read these reviews. The staff was not very friendly at the fitting. All I can say is the dress better be prefect when we get it back.

My daughter and I visited Suburban Bridal twice searching for a pageant gown. They had the one that just made her feel amazing and the price was reasonable. The staff showed us where to look on the first trip and we took it from there until time to try on what we found. The staff helped us with trying on the dress and answered all our questions on what can be done with alterations. We went to a few more shops looking but decided to come back to this dress. The second time we tried it on and the shop owner was there. Oh man, she is amazing and understands design and her advanced education in this field is clear. She gave me a lesson on how to properly lace the back of the dress, it's complicated and gave us tips on what hair styles would be in line with that particular style of dress. She went above and beyond educating us and helping us. I feel so much better about this purchase with thier guidance and will certainly return again.

Lisa is the most unpleasant person I have ever met. I'm not sure she even believes in marriage. She was very rude to both my mom and I the day we went in to look for dresses. It was very unfortunate that I had to find the dress I really loved here because alterations was even more of a nightmare. I had three appointments with Renee and she was late and cranky each time. Not like 5 min late, but 20-25. She acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there...Also, the work she did to the dress was poor and my mother in law had to redo it. Would never want another bride to go through this..please take all the bad reviews into consideration.

Make sure you shop here! This store has the best selection, price and consultants! These guys ARE the experts! They had dresses I had never seen before which makes me really happy because I don't want to look like a cookie cutter!

I recently went to this shop and this was the worst experience I ever had. Not only were the employees mad and put out that they actually had to help me find my dress, they made overtly racist comments and even when I returned, did nothing to help me in taking the dress home. They did not offer any services, such as alterations, nor did they offer me a bag to actually carry by dress home. and the hanger it was on broke when I put it in the car!!! If you can get your dress anywhere else, PLEASE do. It was the most unfortunate thing that I found 'the one' there.

Beware Horrible experience

This was the worst experience we have ever had. The staff are rude and they do horrible work. The alterations that were done for my daughters prom dress were the worst I have ever seen. It was not ready when we were told to pick it up the night before her prom. We had to wait for her to finish the dress even after sending her back to fix several thing and after the third time she bagged the dress and told us everything was done and it was finished. We were rushed the whole time there and got the dress home and it was awful. The diamonds on the dress were barely sewn on. My daughter just cried when she tryed the dress on and saw how horrible it looked. It took me until 4 am the next morning trying to fix the dress so my daughter would have a prom dress to wear. When I called later that morning I was told they didn't know what I had done to the dress after I took it home. I will never go back there and would never recommend then. Beware of this place.

Horrible experience

I have had a terrible time dealing with this company. They are rude and have no consideration for any hardships that may arise. And if you do have an issue they give you the run around and put you off. I would not recommend this bridal store to anyone and I am not the only person who has had many problems with this store. Please if you are planning on getting married in the Omaha area do not use this store, it will ruin you wedding experience. I know it did for me.
