Went to Dowling for a filling. The next day part of the filling fell out. Called to get it fixed and months later they still have not found time for me to have the work done. There are very few dentists who accept Badgercare and you will be treated like a 2nd class customer if you are using this insurance to pay for the work. They are ok for a cleaning but expect to wait 6 months or more for a appointment.
Also the previous filling I had done with them last year was sloppy and rushed. The excess filling clogged the adjoining teeth so that flossing was impossible. Really I wouldn't give a single star for a rating but that as low as you can go. AVOID IF POSSIBLE... I would not waste time writing a review unless I felt strongly about this dentist.

Dentist was short, rude, did a poor job. I personally feel he filled teeth and they did not need to be filled. Did too large of fillings, in which my new dentist needed to fix. I felt rushed and uninformed, the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. If you care about your teeth at all, find another dentist.

Very good clinic and service. Very honest! I went to another dentist and he said I needed three crowns. Went to Dowling Dental, they gave me another opinion and lo and behold, I didn't need any crowns at the time. Just needed a few fillings repaired. I love Dr. Dowling! All the Badgercare people who are complaining below, just be grateful he even takes your insurance. Many dentists don't take it because of how little it pays. He could not afford to run his business without limiting his "exposure" to Badgercare. Dr. Dowling does it out of the kindness of his heart because he knows the service is needed. For anyone with commercial dental insurance or cash pay people, this is never a problem. They will get you right in and take great care of you.

I now have to have teeth pulled because he put too big of fillings in my teeth and they are rotting from under the fillings. my root canal did not last a year and that had to be pulled too. trying to find a dentist who will care form my sore mouth.

Experienced with the dentist is that you wait.. wait.. wait it took up to a year for me to just get 1 appointment because they kept putting it off. Very rushed, and not good quality work.
