Founded in 1965, The Arc Otsego is a private, nonprofit organization that serves more than 450 individuals with developmental disabilities. The organization is a chapter of NYSARC and an affiliate of The Arc of The United States. It offers respite care, parenting education and living skills development services. The Arc Otsego provides guardianship assistance programs for mentally challenged youths. The organization operates various care facilities and offers residential support services. It also provides habilitation, treatment, testing, evaluation and diagnostic services. The Arc Otsego offers vocational training and employment programs for youths above the age of 21. In addition, the organization operates over 20,000-square-feet of warehousing space that provides employment opportunities for approximately 150 individuals.
