Provided by YP.comA few weeks ago I was in need of a hot water heater. After getting several estimates I decided to give our local plumbers my business.
I called John Lockwood Plumbing and explained what I would like and they came up with a suggestion that I liked. They set up a date and time and they were there on time, not like some businesses. Upon arrival, he introduced himself, looked over the job site and continued the install. He also explained the settings and operation of the heater.
I less than 2 hours he had finished, cleaned up thanks us and off to the next job.
I am completely satisfied and anybody in need of plumbing work, in my opinion, you can't go wrong with giving John Lockwood a call.

Provided by YP.comWorst plumbing job ever. The diverter in my shower needed a new cartridge- a two minute repair. The job took four weeks, three visits, and eight phone calls. All for $280. Do not use these people

Provided by YP.comI had several things I needed fixing. I wanted estimates and repairs. The plumber came and repaired the leak under my kitchen sink for $313. He said he would take pictures of the showers I wanted the plumbing replaced on and give estimate for the pipe in the basement that needed replacement which caused the same kitchen sink to back up. He provided no estimate and no other repairs. I called the company asking for the estimate. They still didn't get back to me. Although my sink doesn't leak it backs up. They didn't follow through with any of the jobs I wanted done. He did the one job he could get done that day. There was a :service call" charge that most places waive when charging for labor and parts. I didn't protest thinking he would apply it to the work he did estimating the next jobs. Those jobs are going to a more dependable plumbing company. I am not interested in living with a backed up kitchen sink, even if it doesn't leek. thanks for nothing, Lockwood plumbing.

Provided by YP.comWe had a leaky valve in our basement and called John Lockwood Plumbing to come out. First, they never confirmed our request for an appointment, but instead showed up and my husband had to leave work to meet them at our house. My husband showed the technician where the leak was and the technician, who had no wrench, asked my husband to borrow his. He tightened the nut and 5 minutes later gave us a bill for $125! When my husband called to complain about the $80 charge for "diagnosis and fix", we were told the tightening of the nut comes with 90 day warranty and that the technician will bring his own tools next time. Considering my husband was the one who found the leak, and provided the wrench to fix, we should have only been charged the $60 fee they charge to come to the house. Customer service was a joke and so is this company.
