Superior Shores Resort is on a beautiful sandy beach on the South Shore of Lake Superior. The resort is between Ontonagon Michigan and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is only a few miles away, where you can enjoy hiking, photography and mountain biking. In the winter you downhill or cross-country ski, snowshoe and snowmobile. Hiking and mountain biking trails are also nearby in the Ottawa National Forest, and there are over 100 waterfalls in Ontonagon County to be enjoyed and that offer scenic vacation photos. We are also fortunate to have seasonal flocks of Canada geese, loons and eagles who cruise our shores as well as a variety of songbirds. Walks through the local woods reveal multitudes of beautiful wildflowers, native plants, mosses and ferns.
