To be fair this company does not specialize in rheem AC units. I wish he would have listened more to the circumstances surrounding the issue.

Carter seems like a nice enough guy, but he must be overwhelmed. After Carter made an initial visit, I waited for over 10 days (calling repeatedly) just trying to get an estimate. Never did get one. I finally had to seek someone else.

After sweating it out all day in an 85 degree trailer waiting on "the other guys" to make time for us, out of desperation our office staff contacted Carter to come to our rescue. Economy made my family a priority and worked diligently until our AC was fixed and our family could stay comfortably. Customer service is top notch! If you don't want to be left hanging around, don't even bother calling "the other guys", let Economy Air Heating & AC come take good care of you like they did us!

I noticed my AC unit was leaking after a bought my first house and called Carter based on these reviews. I was not disappointed. They came cleaned up my unit and told me how to maintain it. These guys are very friendly and helpful.

Our 14-year old air conditioner has major leak issue in the compressor unit. We phoned Economy Air based on the review we got from yp.com.

The owner answered our request for repair in a very timely manner (he came the next day, and it was a Saturday). He did quite a thorough job identifying and repairing the leak, but he informed us the fix would be a mere temporary measure based on the age of the unit and the repairing experiences he got with the brand we had (Trane).

We went with his recommendation on a unit by Bryant. The team came on the following Saturday (another weekend) to perform installation. They replaced the compressor unit (outside unit), the indoor unit in our attic, put in refrigerant and tested in 6 hours. The owner went extra yards inviting home air conditioning expert from Alabama Power to carry out an investigation.

I checked the Consumer Report for reliability/repair history, Bryant/Carrier seemed to enjoy a better review. However, each case is different, and only time will tell about our unit. As for workmanship, I would recommend Economy Air based on my experience.

I appreciate the fact that Carter was on time and fixed my air conditioner in about 30 minutes. He explained the problem, gave me a few suggestions, and answered my questions with no hesitation. Very knowledgeable!

After reading lots of good reviews on this company, I gave them a call yesterday needing AC Service. It has now been 24 hours and no one has returned my call. My call was made during a normal business week during business hours. Disappointed.

Service was very friendly and professional. Made it to my house to fix my unit as soon as possible. They went out of their way to explain what I needed to do to keep my ac running (filters, cleaning, etc) Even took down appliance information for future reference. I will definitely be using them again

I called him on a Sunday and carter came straight out to our house. I will continue to use him for years to come.

When I called Carter at 4:30 in the afternoon he arrived in 30 minutes. I'm sure this isn't typical, but it would have been easy for him to put it off until the next day. His work was thorough and effective, and at a reasonable price. He also cleaned out the condensate lines at no charge, an extra service that isn't usually done for free if even at all. I'd certainly use him again.

Don't think twice, call Economy Air today. Carter came out late Friday on a holiday weekend after his doctor total him to go home and get some rest. We were close to the pharmacy here he was headed and he stopped by and worked on our AC issue until it was fixed, the sun was no longer up. What can you say about Carter: honest, kind, hard working, fair and he knows his AC's. We are a new permanent customer. Oh,he also got rid of the noise the compressor was making that was irritating us and the neighbors for month and no one seemed to be able to fix.

The services Are world class. There prices were excellent and more than fair. I strongly recommend This company. Be sure to ask about there discounts!
