I work for the United States Post Office in Orange Beach.... my vehicle goes through a lot of wear and tear! Island Discount Tire has always had me up and running for the next day to deliver if I’ve ever had a problem... I would highly recommend!!! Great service and price! Joe and his team go above and beyond to get you back on the road Safely!!

I went there with flat to repair. Seem more interested in selling me a new set of tires. Insisted on putting plugs in tire instead of patches. Price for 3 plugs reasonable at 25.00. I feel I had only one leak but after finding foreign material in 3 spots which he pulled out and push a plug in before checking if they leaked. Plugs did not hold and again brought tire for repair when I got home . all plugs replace with patches all holes in thread area been ok now for 3 months
tech told me he feels have another 10000 miles of thread on tires

I'm not saying this company doesn't do good work I'm saying make sure they do what u pay for. Make sure u get the parts u pay for and ask to seem them. I had a fuel pump put on and a month later it burned up? Faulty pump maybe but we never saw the part that was removed or the new one put on. Thankfully they warrantied the part but not the labor. First time labor was $300 to put on fuel pump the second time the labor on the fuel pump was $150 same work different price. Not to mention the 1/2 a tank of gas we lost due to the fuel pump being replaced the first time. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we brought another vehicle to be worked on there. We were told it would b $400 to fix the vehicle with parts. After completion the work became $550 due to having to replace a faulty battery. We found a receipt in the glove box of the vehicle showing the battery had been replaced last year and on top of that it had a 3 year warrant on it! It was 3 days after picking up the vehicle. We brought the receipt to the mechanic and he said he didn't kno it was warrantied and they already picked up the battery for core. how could u as a mechanic that replaces batteries all the time not realize a walmart battery when u see it when it is common knowledge that Walmart provides 3 year warranties on all their batteries?? In the past 3 months we have spent $1300 (almost an entire month of our income) with this company hoping to have finally found a reasonably priced dependable honest mechanic. So we asked what could be done and he said nothing tried nothing to keep our business relationship so I guess we r still looking for a dependable reasonably priced honest mechanic.

We were vacationing in Orange Beach and we had a tire losing air. Went to Pep Boys and were told they couldn't repair a tire (huh?). They sent us to Walmart. They couldn't find anything and sent us on our way. The next morning and with a low tire again, my husband took the car here. The owner was great. After hearing our story, he said my husband wasn't leaving until they found the leak. After about 10 minutes, a small nail was found embedded in the tread. The tire was repaired and our vacation was saved. What a great place. They care about the customer and worked to solve our problem. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

It's nice to find a business that still knows the meaning of customer service! We were in and out in less than 10 minutes to have my tire repaired! I LOVE doing business with locally owned businesses! This will definitely be my go to when I need service!

We were on vacation when we realized our tire was low. We looked up "Discount Tire" on our phone and ended up here. It wasn't what we'd been seeking, but the guy agreed to look at the tire. We'd run over a screw somewhere, and he repaired it for us for only $10. Saved our vacation! Getting a flat while driving 1000 miles home wouldn't have been fun.

On vacation and had a wheel sling a weighT on Saturday of course. Called and he said his store was busy but come by anyway. Because his other jobs were going to takke awhile he stopped and repaired mine before completing the other jobs. Pulled in and pulled out in 15 minutes with a repaired wheel. That is what i call "going over and above the call of duty". Thank you again!!!



Now i can go back to vacationing and stop worring about the trip home.

I wound up in Gulf Shores, AL on vacation in memory of my mom and had tire troubles, Joe at Island Discount Tires hooked me up with 2 tires nearly brand new for a price that couldn't be beat. While there, Joe and his staff made sure my A/C was fully charged, coils were clean, and looked over my truck(breaks, fluids, etc. to make sure I didn't face any more troubles while on vacation. If you have vehicle troubles while in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach or surrounding areas, I'd recommend you go see Joe, a man that proved to look out for his customers.

I had to have two tires for my pickup, called Joe at Island Discount Tires. Joe gave me the price, which was cheaper than any I had priced. Joe order the tires for me, came in the next day. I was super pleased with the service I got and the friendliness of Joe. Great place to do business. Joe will go out of his way to serve you. I will recommend Island Discount Tires to everyone.
