I work at the AT&T building down the street from this particular El Pollo Loco. Let me just say it is a well known fact between all my fellow employees, that this place is unacceptably slow. In fact it's there's a running gag at the office "Don't go there unless they give you an extra long lunch". I've spoken to management and expressed my dismay in person. I've let them know how their losing because nobody in my office goes here during lunch and instead opt for the Carls Jr, Wendy's, Del Taco, etc in the area and the best the manager could up with is "They (we) just have to be patient". He really told me that in his broken English.

ordered a large lunch order for several people. all the orders were correct.
