I was able to join with no waiting. The pool is lovely, the locker rooms are clean. I have taken Pilates with Darlene-she is terrific!

I came to the LA Fitness in Orange City, FL with my daughter's to inquire about memberships. First off the girl at the counter looked at us like we were some kind of a freak show and the whole time I was trying to talk to her she was paying more attention to the cell phone on the counter beside her. When other people came in behind us she brushed us aside and told us someone would be out to talk to us. After 5 minutes of waiting I never saw her call anyone so I decided we were no longer interested in joining. We joined the YMCA where we were greeted warmly. Although having to travel to Deland to use a pool is a little inconvenient, I would rather be where we are treated like people and be happy then be where we are made to feel like people are talking about us in a negative way.
