However, I was extremely disappointed at my last visit. I had received a gift certificate for Christmas. I also attended a wine tasting there and was given a complimentary 10% discount on my next visit. While the restaurant did honor both the gift card and the discount, I was told that in the future, they would not accept both. I do not understand this thinking. While I can understand not accepting two discounts, a gift card is not a discount! A gift card is the same as cash (they already received the cash). This has turned me off for this restaurant. I will not be returning to this establishment.

The menu is varied and includes traditional American fare like pork roast, filet mignon, salmon, and chicken dishes as well as specialty items like Hungarian goulash. Everything is cooked to order and excellent. On Friday nights there is a pianist. This is an excellent place for a special dinner, brunch on Sunday or lunch.

This restaurant fills the place the old Woody's had in Orange Park for a number of years on Park St. The food is excellent, prepared to your specifications, and the staff bend over backwards to see that everything is to your satisfaction. It's a nice, quiet place to have a leisurely meal.
