The woman who runs the laundromat is extremely rude. The sign on the door says: "Last Wash : 8:00PM" My last 4 loads were in and washing at 8:07. She informed me that I would not be able to fold my clothes because I started my laundry 7 minutes late. I was fine with that and extremely polite in return, because I was 7 minutes late. I put my laundry into the dryers within a minute and a half of the wash cycles' ends. At 9pm she informed me that they were locking the doors and I must leave. I pleaded with her to let me finish drying them the remaining 20-30 minutes that they needed because it they were literally all of my clothes, my beddings, towels, etc; and I don't have a dryer, hence why I was there. She was rude and talked down to me as if I was stupid, saying that the door states: Last Wash : 8:00PM ; Closed : 9:00PM. I told her, trying to maintain my polite demeanor, that I read the sign and assumed (getting there at 7:30) that my clothes would be sorted and washing by 8, not 8:07; also that my clothes had 20 to 30 minutes left to dry, (and I did have the dryers set to high temp to try and speed up the process) not 7 minutes. So the sign was of no importance, because if I had started my last load at 8:00 on the dot, they would still need 13-23 minutes of drying. Instead of taking this logic into account and finding the compassion to let me finish drying my clothes, she was rude once again, forced me out the door, and locked it. To say the least, I was extremely dissatisfied with Ridgewood Coin Laundry and its staff, and will never return. So much so, that for the first time in my life, I have found a business' service to be so terrible, that I felt obligated to warn the world on the Internet.
