Suncoast Industrial provides Professional Electrical Engineering and State Certified Contracting, including electrical testing and infra-red scanning. Since1990 we have provided electrical schematics for power and light systems, including control system design. Our capabilities include developing the design concept, providing necessary materials, and field installation and support. Suncoast has the experience to assist you with your Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLC ) in your operations, specializing in Allen-Bradley Control Solutions. We assist industrial clients in complying with the new NFPA-70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace providing a scope of services. This standard requires an Arc Flash Hazard analysis be performed for the protection of employees and to determine the personal protective equipment ( PPE ). We verify and on-site survey, perform a Short Circuit Study and Coordination Study and install warning labels on the electrical equipment. We have performed work for Gainesville Regional Utilities including a radio controlled remote alarm system, and retrofitting of existing power plant systems. Some of our other clients include Jacksonville Electric Authority/St. Johns River Power Park, PCS Phosphate, Tamko Roofing and Baptist Medical Center.
